NewT is a rapper and singer of R’nB, Coupé Décalé and also active as a producer and dancer. Starting as solo street rapper, NewT became part of B Leck T who combined R’nB, rap, soul and slow. The group was thrown back from la pillage and social unrest when Mobutu came down, losing their recordings and studio and NewT concentrated on other music projects.
NewT works as a Radio Producer and promotes Hip Hop through his broadcasts. He also collaborates with the Congolese rapper Lexxus Legal.
