Mokili Mokambo is the band of Strombo aka Strobondoribo. They want to give people an idea about the art of life, knowing how to react to circumstances, understanding that creation is cultural diffusion not merely for the recapturing of one’s identity but for the greater good because the whole world is suffering from manifold problems related to the structure of society and the psychology of the crazy mind. They fight egoism and the division of society. “Since the beginning of time, we have lost many of our values and to recapture our identity, each artist is requested to be part of the process. We want to remind the Congolese people of their capacities when it comes to rebuilding the country.”
